We are thrilled to announce, after months of hard work, that Chelmsford County Council has approved our planning application to add two outdoor courts at our new venue, Great Baddow Recreation Ground.

Chelmsford Go Padel

The Great Baddow Recreation Ground is surrounded by community sport, football, cricket, tennis, bowls and more and we look forward to bringing the sport of Padel to the local community.

We are excited to be working alongside Richard Ramjane and Rod Soutter, who have been invaluable in bringing this project to life. Between us all we have an excellent team who can mirror the success of Go Padel UK venues in Maldon and Brentwood.

Richard Hall Smith, founder of GoPadelUK, Says:

“From the moment I first saw the venue, I knew it was a perfect fit for Go Padel UK as we aim to be at the heart of each community we work in.

To be the first people to bring Padel to Chelmsford is a huge achievement for us and, believe me, this is just the beginning of our planned expansion for Padel in Chelmsford!

We look forward to replicating the success we have achieved at our other venues and promise that Go Padel Chelmsford will be a club for EVERYONE!

Whether you are 4 or 84, whether you have played a racket sport for years or you have never touched a racket, there WILL be a plan for YOU!

Our pre-marketing will start shortly and we aim to have the club opened in April this year.

For those interested and want to be on the membership waiting list, please GET IN TOUCH BELOW.”

We have only just begun the Padel revolution in Essex, so watch this space for more announcements.

New to padel?

Padel combines action with fun and sociability!

Padel is not as dominated by strength and serve as often happens in Tennis. Therefore it is a game men, women and youth can all enjoy together.

Points are won by strategy rather than by sheer strength and power, so match-craft and technique are the important skills – and we can teach you!

Go Padel is the operator of Hello Padel England.
